The Blanzy Conte Gilbert 2500 Sergent Major Superieure nib is a flexible vintage dip pen point, with an an elegant profile, good shading, and fine hairlines. The Blanzy 2500 Sergeant Major was Proust’s favorite nib. We find this nib to be a more forgiving than the Blanzy 2552; the Sergeant Major is slightly less flexible, but offers excellent control for pointed pen calligraphy and copperplate scripts.
